Lovemore Madhuku

Lovemore Madhuku was born on July 20, 1966. He is married to Annamercy and has two children, a daughter Tendai(Be Thankful) and a son Nyasha (Mercy).

He received a Bachelor of Law (Honours) degree [BL (Hons)] in 1989 and a Bachelor of Laws degree [LL.B] in 1990, from the University of Zimbabwe. He then furthered his education studies and received a Master of Law [LL.M] in 1994 and a doctorate in law [Ph.D] in 1999 from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.

Lovemore Madhuku is the chairman of the National Constitutional Assembly of Zimbabwe Which is one of the key stakeholders in founding and establishing the MDC,with the principal being to create a new democratic Constitution for the people of Zimbabwe. He is allied with Movement for Democratic Change leader Arthur Mutambara and MDC Secretary General Tendai Biti against the Mugabe administration.[1]
