Lovehatetragedy is the second major-label album by Californian rock group Papa Roach. It was released on June 18, 2002, and ultimately didn't sell as well as its predecessor, "Infest". Notable was the absence of previous rapped vocals, except on the song "She Loves Me Not". It still sold approximately 700 000 units (gold) in US alone. It was also certified gold in UK and Canada. It peaked #2 on Billboard 200.
The album was released in a 'censored' version despite its lack of much profanity. On the censored cover, the baby is not throwing up metal horns. It was airbrushed down to making a fist. The album was originally meant to be titled 'Born To Rock' thus the cover.
A re-recorded version of the song "M-80 (Explosive Energy Movement)" was featured in the game Amplitude
