Love on the Beat was a 1984 album by French singer and songwriter Serge Gainsbourg. On this album, Gainsbourg tried his hand at the electronic / new wave movement, ripe with synthetisers, that was heavily popular at the time. The album was controversial due to its lyrics' heavily sexual content, and most notably with "Lemon Incest", sung as a duet with his then 12 year old daughter Charlotte Gainsbourg. The music is set to Chopin's Etude No. 3.
