Love Story is a 1981 film directed by Rajendra Kumar. The film also stars Rajendra Kumar alongside his son Kumar Gaurav and Vijeta Pandit both making their film debut. Vidya Sinha, Amjad Khan, Danny Denzongpa and Aruna Irani also appear in supporting roles. The music was composed by R. D. Burman with lyrics by Anand Bakshi. The film became a "blockbuster" at the box office.[1] This movie made Kumar Gaurav a 'Star' overnight.[2] Amit Kumar won the Filmfare Best Male Playback Award over another nominee, his father Kishore Kumar.
