"Love Somebody" is a popular song.

It was written by Joan Whitney and Alex Kramer and published in 1947 (see 1947 in music).

The recording by Doris Day and Buddy Clark was released by Columbia Records as catalog number 38174, with the flip side "Confess". It first reached the Billboard magazine Best Seller chart on May 28, 1948 and lasted 24 weeks on the chart, peaking at #6.[1] On some other charts, the song reached #1.
