Love Is A Fat Woman (Spanish: El Amor es una mujer gorda) is a 1987 Argentine drama film directed and written by Alejandro Agresti.

The film premiered in Argentina on 12 April 2001. Alejandro Agresti won best director at the San Sebastian Film Festival, where it premiered on 23 September 1987.
José is a young journalist who gets fired over refusing to write an article about an American film crew, overdramatizing the situation, in Argentina. When he goes looking for his old girlfriend, he runs into serious difficulties with the crew again.
