"Love Come Down" (1982) is a major hit single by Evelyn "Champagne" King. It was produced by Kashif. "Love Come Down" was the first single culled from her multi-platinum, number-one R&B album, Get Loose (which also charted at #5 on the Billboard 200). It was a major hit in nearly every country in which it was released in. It reached number one on the R&B singles chart and number seventeen on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It even earned a Gold certification in the US. The success of this single shot her Get Loose LP into the top-five of the Billboard 200, and helped earn the album a 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA.
