LoveLikeFire is a San Francisco-based indie rock band. The group was formed in January 2006[3] when vocalist Ann Yu and drummer/keyboardist David Farrell abruptly canceled a move to Los Angeles upon meeting guitarist/vocalist Ted Parker through Craigslist.[4][5][3] Bassist Robert Kissinger joined later that year.[1] The band released a debut EP Bed of Gold in 2006 and followed it with An Ocean in the Air the next year. In 2007, the band also self-organized and self-financed a national tour.[6] A full-length LP is planned for 2008.[6] The group is currently unsigned.[7]

The group has received media attention from Spin,[8] The A.V. Club,[9] San Francisco magazine,[10] East Bay Express,[11] SFist,[12] LimeWire Music Blog,[13] SF Weekly,[14] WOXY.com,[3] and LA Weekly.[15] LoveLikeFire's music video for "I Will" from An Ocean in the Air was chosen as an Official Selection of SXSW 2008 Film Festival.[12]
