Love-Berrish! (ラブ・ベリッシュ!, Love-Berrish!^?) is a manga series by Nana Haruta. 15 year-old FUKUSHIMA Yuuya has always wanted to live on her own, in an inn next to her school. This new dorm of hers, the Strawberry Tree Dorm, turns out to be a place with weird people--a girl that touches her chest out of the blue, a guy with one of the shortest tempers ever. BUT the good thing is, there's a really handsome and nice guy that she fell in love with instantly! Also, not to mention a crazy cat who adores him (looks can be deceiving...). Yuuya's life has just became much more interesting...

Yuya Fukushima

Yuya Fukushima is fifteen years old and has recently moved into the Strawberry Dorm on the Natsuka Academy campus. She is easily embarrassed and even wishes to transfer out of the dorm at first. However after Akusa talks to her she ends up staying. She finds the people in her dorm strange but still shows that she accepts them and even goes so far to defend them to a group of bullies. After Azusa protects from being hit by the bullies, she realizes that she is starting to have feelings for him.

Nagisa Takamatsu

Nagisa also lives in Strawberry Dorm and attends Natsuka Academy. He is introduced fairly early on as a short-tempered guy who has a habit of getting into fight. However, he claims that he doesn't like to fight and Kon also states that Nagisa is unlikely to accept people's challenges. Although Yuya and Nagisa tend to get into fights, Azusa claims that Nagisa is good at heart which is revealed by the fact he even made food especially for Yuya on her first night in the dorm and tells Yuya not to worry so much what other people think about her. He quickly realizes Yuya has a crush on Azusa but it is unclear whether he is trying to hinder a relationship between them or encourage it.

Azusa Chiba

Azusa is extremely popular and many girls, including Yuya, tend to think of him as a sort of "Prince" due to his good looks and his kind nature. He is the student representative at Natsuka Academy which means that he is at the top of the class. Also, it is stated that he was the dorm president in middle school. He does his best to help keep the peace in the dorm, especially between Nagisa and Yuya. Azusa and Nagisa appear to be close friends but Nagisa dislikes the self-sacrificing nature of Azusa. For instance, Nagisa tried to provoke a reaction from Azusa by claiming to be dating Yuya but Azusa simply wished them the best to which Nagisa replied by saying "I hate that part of you."
