[edit] Merge?

It might make sense to merge this into: Home Guard (Union) Red Harvest (talk) 13:13, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

I understand the thought, but James Speed, a significant figure who served in Lincoln's administration, led this unit, so it tends to stand out on its own. This article will also grow, I'm sure. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 14:27, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Agreed - this unit is separate enough from the Kentucky Home Guard that it stands alone. Scott Mingus (talk) 02:12, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
