[edit] "New" fansite

I've been the webmaster of a French Louis de Funès fansite since December 14th, 2000, FufuWorld. Since May 16th, 2006, it is now available in English as well. So I wondered if it would be interesting to place an external link to it on this page? I'm asking this, because each time I added it to the French Louis de Funès article, it got removed, so... Please do so! While Louis de Funès is a superstar in many countries & there are innumberable websites about him in those languages, in the English-speaking world he is pretty much unknown and there are very few English-language websites about him. So yours would probably be notable. Esn 06:46, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks! I've added it to the article, hoping that it'll not be removed, like with the French Wikipedia article about Louis de Funès. But, as you've said, it would probably be more interesting to place it here, as I've also noticed that there are very few English-language fan websites about the actor. I'm actually wondering if mine would be the only one which is available in English... I hope not! Maxime Abbey 09:37, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ROQUETAILLADE?

Why is there a link to Chateau de Roquetaillade at the end? There is no mention of it in the bio.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Louis de funes rabbi jacob.jpg

Image:Louis de funes rabbi jacob.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:32, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Countries where he was famous

I addedp on the top of the page also Albania, since Louis de Funès was also well known there with his series of Saint Tropez Gendarmeries. Very hilarious and the best comedies ever seen. Illuminati 10:05, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Louis de Funes is also CURRENT superstar in Russia as he was superstar in USSR. Todays all films with this legendary actor remains very popular also in all former Soviet republics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.0.210.102 (talk) 15:51, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
