Talk:Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia - Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia → Louis Ferdinand, Prince of Prussia - A move of this exact nature was done for his grandson, George Frederick of Prussia, as he was the head of the Royal House of Hohenzollern (Prussian line) as his grandson is now. [edit] Naming

Why is the name Ludwig put into its French form, Louis, and not its English form, Lewis? An article about a German in an English language encyclopedia doesn't seem a suitable site for names to be translated into French.

[edit] What about Friedrich Wilhelm?

Why wasn't Friedrich Wilhelm the heir if he was the oldest son? The absence of a death date for him suggests he's still alive.
