[edit] Advertising

This page reads like an advertisement, not like an encyclopedia article. I removed one paragraph, and 3 of the links as they seemed irrelevant. Article still needs massive improvement. --Xyzzyplugh 14:27, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

I made an attempt to clean it up, and I dropped the advert tag. I think I got rid of most of the blatent POV content. The guy is certainly noteworthy enough for an article, but the original version was definitely a bit over the top. fbb_fan 03:26, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure where you got that impression, but the original article was incredibly rich in accurate detail that seems to have been expunged--for no reason I can find. This kind of information is the raison d'etre of Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Godofredo29 (talkcontribs) 19:36, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

This is an accurate article describing Westside Barbell and only hinting at the complex, yet very effective training methods used at that gym. There is nothing in it that reads like an advertisement. J. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.164.176.38 (talk) 19:59, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
