I thought Mitch would be a great starting bio. Maybe make new ones every 21 days, and archive old ones?--Bedford 05:35, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Possible future Select biographies

I was looking for bios with 1)Pictures and 2)of a size larger than Start.--Bedford 17:33, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

I think John Yarmuth would be good to add, to balance out Anne Northup politically, especially as they might be running against each other again. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 18:53, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

I probably should. I just striked out those bio above that I've actually done. I need to get Sanders as well, either on this portal or Kentucky's.--Bedford 19:07, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

  • I did Scherzinger's, but seeing how she just sold Fat Tony's, she may no longer qualify as a Louisvillain. Sander's pic is not free, so some image-nazi is likely to screw me over with using that pic like they did Thompson's and Kirk's. I probably need to go back to Cave Hill and take a closeu-up just of his face on his gravestone.--Bedford 19:19, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

I would like to add nominations for Joshua Fry Speed and James Speed because of their connections to Lincoln -- especially interesting during the two-year Bicentennial that just started. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 16:35, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Last Governor of Indiana to be appointed by a president prior to its statehood, when he was Governor of Indiana he stayed in Jeffersonville. -Jahnx (talk) 17:23, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Nominate James John Floyd for inclusion to selected biography. Pioneer of Louisville area helped establish Louisville and participated in early military and government of the area. Namesake for several areas. -Jahnx (talk) 20:59, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
