Louisiana Highway 59 (LA 59) is a north-south state highway in Louisiana that serves St. Tammany Parish. It spans 11.75 miles in a south to north direction. It is known locally as Girod Street, Level Street, Maple Street, and Range Line Road throughout its run.

[edit] Route description

From the south, LA 59 (Girod Street) begins at an intersection with US 190 (Florida Street) and LA 1087 (Girod Street south of US 190) in Mandeville. Heading north, it intersects LA 1088 before meeting Interstate 12 at a diamond interchange (Exit 65). Continuing northward, the highway turns east as it enters Abita Springs and becomes Level Street. Shortly thereafter, it intersects LA 36 and LA 435 at Maple Street. The highway then turns northward along Maple Street and overlaps LA 36 for roughly a quarter of a mile. The highways split again and LA 59 turns northward again, becoming Range Line Road. It continues northward until a terminus with LA 21.
