Louisiana Highway 449 (LA 449) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves Livingston and St. Helena Parishes. It spans 23.84 miles in a south to north direction. North of Walker and Livingston, it is known as North Corbin Avenue and North Corbin Road. North of LA 63, it is known as John Lanier Road.

[edit] Route description

From the south, LA 449 begins at an intersection with US 190 just east of Walker. Heading northward, the highway intersects LA 1024 and then LA 63. LA 449 and LA 63 overlap westward for a very short time before LA 449 departs again to the north. Just after entering St. Helena Parish, LA 449 enters the locality of Pine Grove and intersects LA 16. LA 449 and LA 16 are also concurrent for a short time (to the east of their first intersection). LA 449 then turns north away from LA 16 (this junction also being the western terminus of LA 1041) and heads in a north-northeast direction to a terminus at LA 37 south of Greensburg.

LA 449 is an undivided, two lane highway for its entire length.
