Louisiana Highway 434 (LA 434) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves St. Tammany Parish. It spans 10.79 miles in a south to north direction. South of US 190, it is known as Lake Road.

[edit] Route description

From the south, Lake Road literally begins at Lake Pontchartrain. The state maintained portion which is designated as LA 434 begins about two miles from the lake near the intersection of Barringer Road and Lake Road. LA 434 continues northward to a junction in Lacombe with US 190 and LA 1093-1. At this point, it turns northeastward onto US 190 and the roadways overlap as they cross Bayou Lacombe together. Shortly thereafter, LA 434 turns northward and eventually intersects I-12 at a diamond interchange (Exit 74). It continues northward through the community of St. Tammany to a terminus at LA 36.

LA 434 is an undivided, two-lane highway for its entire length.
