Louisiana Highway 378 (LA 378) runs through Moss Bluff, an unincorporated area north of Lake Charles, and Westlake, a small incorporated area northwest of Lake Charles.
It starts at LA 14 (also known as LA 171) and runs through the center of Moss Bluff. The Moss Bluff stretch is named Sam Houston Jones Parkway. The highway follows Davis Road into Westlake, then proceeds down Phillis Rd., Westwood Rd., and Sampson St. It ends at I-10.
Along LA 378 are Moss Bluff Elementary School, Moss Bluff Middle School, Sam Houston High School, and Moss Bluff Sheriff's Station. The western side of Hwy 378 in Moss Bluff is being developed into three new subdivisions, and is also the location of the archdioceses' home.
