Louisiana Highway 3274 (LA 3274) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves St. James Parish. It spans 2.59 miles in a south to north direction. It is known locally as Airline Avenue.
[edit] Route description
From the south, LA 3274 begins as South Airline Avenue from an intersection LA 44 and heads north through downtown Gramercy. After intersecting LA 641 (Main Street), LA 3274 becomes North Airline Avenue. Continuing northward, crosses LA 3125 before ending at a junction with US 61 (Airline Highway).
LA 3274 was formerly a portion of LA 20 (that crossed the Mississippi River via the Vacherie-Lutcher ferry). The route nubmers were redesignated and truncated respectively when the ferry was closed due to the opening of the Gramercy Bridge (also known as the Veterans Memorial Bridge).
LA 3274 is an undivided, two-lane highway for its entirety.
