[edit] Route description
From the west, LA 3003 begins at a junction with LA 1032 (4-H Club Road) in Denham Springs just south of the US 190. It heads southeastward and intersects LA 3002 (South Range Avenue). From this point, LA 3002 runs along the northern right-of-way of I-12 before coming to an end at LA 16 (Pete's Highway).
With the exception of a brief undivided, 3-lane (with a middle turning lane) stretch near LA 3002, LA 3003 is an undivided, two-lane highway.
