Louise Carver (10 January 1979), is a popular South African singer/songwriter and pianist.

Louise Carver was born in Cape Town and holds both British and South African citizenship. She has been playing piano since the age of 11 and received her first recording contract at the age of 15. She attended the Rustenberg Girls High, matriculating in 1996 and studied at the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2002.1.

She released her first single (‘It Don’t Matter’) at age 17 and her debut album (‘Mirrors and Windows’)at the age of 18. ‘It Don’t Matter’ was released late in 1996. The single reached number 1 on the South African National Campus Charts and spent 11 weeks on the South African National Top 40 Charts, reaching the 3rs position. 2.
