Louis W. Thabault

Louis W. Thabault, age 53, was a candidate in the 2006 primary of the Democratic Party for the United States Senate.

He was defeated by Bernie Sanders, but got more votes than any of the other three candidates.

Louis' main platform was about airplane contrails, or Chemtrails as they are sometimes known.

He has been a lifelong Democrat and was a 15 year employee of the USPS.

He did not have any committee in the election, but financed his campaign himself, spending $1,640 on a print advertisement in the Burlington Free Press several months before the primary.

Louis currently lives in South Burlington, Vermont.
