Louis R. Chênevert is the Chief Executive Officer [2] and President of United Technologies Corporation. He was elected to be UTC's CEO in succession of George David and has assumed that role effective April 9, 2008 [3].

Chênevert was elected to be UTC's President and Chief Operating Officer in March, 2006. He was elected president of Pratt & Whitney in 1999, after working with Pratt & Whitney Canada for six years. Before this, he spent 14 years at General Motors.
