Louis Leonard (born July 16, 1984 in Clovis, New Mexico) is an American football defensive tackle who currently players for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. He was originally signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Fresno State.

Leonard attended Verbum Dei High School where as a senior he made 106 tackles and seven sacks.

Leonard played college football at Fresno State. He played 43 times for Frenso and posted 68 tackles and 6.5 sacks. He graduated with a degree in criminology.
[edit] Professional career
Leonard was originally signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 4 2007 and was a member of their practice squad. He was then signed by the St.Louis Rams to their active roster on September 12 but was later waived. He was signed by the Cleveland Browns via waivers on October 8. He played in four games during his rookie season.
