From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Louis K Wang (born 1965) was born in Taiwan and moved to New York City to study filmmaking and computer graphics. After several exhibitions in Manhattan, he became an established digital artist and animator. Afterwards, he moved back to Taiwan where he promoted these new digital art and animation techniques, concentrating on the local movie society and the art education system.

Doing animation with digital tools and modern art concepts are the major issues in his works. The figures he created such as Dr. Burgher [1] and characters in “Subtown League” were known as edutainment contents in college students. Also, the digital cinema concept was mostly applied in his animated works. He is now a professor at a university, teaching animation and digital arts.
