Louis "Lou" Mongello is an American author and web developer who has written 2 trivia books covering the Walt Disney World Resort. Beginning as a child and continuing into adulthood, Lou was fascinated by Disney World and has visited over 80 times since then. He amassed a collection of knowledge and trivia about the resort which he put into a quiz book in 2004, The Walt Disney World Trivia Book. He wrote a follow-up trivia book in 2006 and is planning a page-a-day type calendar for 2009. Lou is also a regular contributor to the WDW Today Podcast along with his own podcast show the WDW Radio Show Disney Podcast.

Mongello holds a bachelors degree in Sociology from Villanova University and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University. He practiced law for a year before forming his own computer consulting and web design company, Imagine Enterprises. Lou currently lives with his wife, daughter (who was born on Mickey Mouse's 75th birthday and who graces the cover of Volume II) and son, is currently Chief Technology Officer and Director of Operations for a medical imaging company in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.

Always looking for the next Disney collectible, Mongello once bid over $30,000 on a Disney monorail car that went up for auction. When Disney unveiled a 2 foot tall solid gold Mickey Mouse statue, as a collector of all things Disney, Mongello called it the "ultimate Disney collectible."[1] Mongello's first book was featured in the Fall 2005 issue of his aluma mater's alumni magazine: Seton Hall Magazine, Staten Island Parent[2], and the December 2004 issue of The Bookwatch[3].
