Louie del Carmen (born Manuel Luis Gonzales del Carmen , August 19, 1967 in Cavite City, Republic of the Philippines) is an American animation storyboard artist/director and illustrator. He is credited on numerous animated programs from the mid 1990's until today including Rugrats, Rocket Power, Invader Zim, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Disney's Kim Possible and the upcoming new animated series called The Mighty B: The Adventures of Bessie Higgenbottom. ( Nickelodeon TV Channel )

In 2006 he self-published his first book titled "Random Anomalies", a collection of editorial style cartoons dealing with the subject of fate and synchronicity. Honoring his art heroes, he followed Random Anomalies with the science fiction themed art book "The Wayward Traveller: Snapshots from Alternate Worlds". In it he cites artists like Jean Giraud (popularly known as Moebius), Syd Mead, Katsuhiro Otomo and Rowland Emett for being strong influences in his artwork.

Staying in sci-fi genre, Louie released his first self-published comic book in 2007 called "Steel Noodles: A Slice of Heaven" featuring an orange haired, waif warrior named Val. The short, locally printed story served as a preview to a much larger story that he is developing into a multi-part graphic novel.

In last quarter of 2007, Louie transitioned to feature animation work by joining Dreamworks Animation as a story artist.
