"Loud" is the first single to be taken from Shannon Noll's third album Turn It Up. The single is released to radio on Friday, August 10, 2007. The single debuted at number 3 on the ARIA singles chart, though dropped out of the Top 10 in its second week.
The song has been used to promote the 2007 NRL Finals Series. Shannon Noll performed the song live as part of the pre-game entertainment for the 2007 NRL Grand Final.
The b-side to the single is a track titled "The World Outside". Noll previewed this track during his 2006 "Now I Run" national tour and it quickly became a fan favourite, with live bootlegs being circulated amongst fans.
