Would anyone share their notes on this essential lecture? The professor reviewed Mayahana Buddhism and the Lotus Sutra.

Seems to me like an attempt by Chih-i to synthesize metaphysical viewpoints of the Three Treatise school and the Consciousness only school. The former said dharmas are unreal. The latter said they are real. Chih-i said dharmas have being, but *provisional* being. This chapter does not seem to address anything related to the status of the bodhisattva or the Tiantai's view on government. That is my take.
