Lotta Love
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lotta Love is a Neil Young song from his 1978 album Comes a Time. The song is best known for its cover version sung and released by Nicolette Larson, which peaked at #8 on Billboard Magazine's Hot 100 chart in February 1979, as well as hitting #1 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart. It was also remixed into a rather short (4:20) Disco version for 12" Single release and this remix was included on the Japanese version of the pictured 1999 CD here on this page. Main differences between this remix and the familiar radio version is a pure "four on the floor" disco drum track (replacing the radio version's "pop heartbeat" drum rhythm); and a sax solo on the bridge, replacing the radio version's bridge flute solo, which was relegated to a flute bit in the Disco version's intro.
