Loten Namling

Loten Namling is a noted Tibetan singer, musician artist and entertainer currently living in exile in Switzerland [1]. He is working on his innovative project, 'Tibet Blues', in which he explores new paths linking the old songs to contemporary culture.

His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama once called Loten 'a dedicated and sincere singer with a strong and powerful voice'.

Based in Switzerland, Loten has traveled worldwide with his Tibetan lute, singing the songs of the 6th Dalai Lama, Milarepa, and authentic traditional songs of Tibet. From Kalmykya to Korea to Wales to America, Loten's has performed worldwide telling stories about his life, connecting the songs of the past to the reality of the present and inviting his audience on amusical journey through the landscape of Tibetan spirituality.

Loten is also an artist, cartoonist and creative thinker who has dedicated his life to preserving Tibet's rich musical heritage.
