A few short words about me, since I have been editing here and there for a while.
Just as my username says, I am a "Lost" PhD, wandering without a clear goal. When I get some spare time, I check into Wikipedia to monitor pages close to me, chiefly related to student life at the University of Toronto (with which I was heavily involved in the late 1980s and early 1990s), and the occasional page on the history of Toronto itself.
Recently an article was published in the bulletin of the Canadian Historical Association (of which I am a member) criticizing the poor quality of Wikipedia pages relating to Canada and its history. The author essentially said that Wikipedia was useless. I don't agree. What it needs is more contributions and edits from those with specific expertise and knowledge, which will only make everything better. I am doing my small bit for this cause.
