Talk:Lost Planet: Extreme Condition
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
On the page dedicated to VS's, it says that the billion sword is the most complex and powerful suit in the game. The Yuri (Gale's VS) is faster, less armoured, and has less firepower. This is counter to the plot description, which states the Yuri being the most powerful suit.

[edit] Lost Planet Ps3
I was thinking of adding a part in about the Ps3 version of the game. I have read so far that the game will have all the content of the PC and also have a 5g installation when you start the game. My main concern is trying to sort out and and put references and such...If anyone one would like to help me, just respond and I will start it out...Or you could do so yourself. Otherwise if no one reads this I will go ahead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lavat (talk • contribs) 12:36, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Lost Planet Exclusive to Xbox 360
I just wanted to let Wikipedia know that I made some adjustments to the page in the section that talked about the Lost Planet game from Capcom being exclusive to the Xbox 360. I repaired some of the grammar and spelling, and I added some new citations so people can have a reference to look at if they want to examine the fact based information for themselves. This particular section originally was based entirely on speculation and rumors, so I made sure to add fact based information, and I included the proper references. Thank you for allowing this additional information and the corrections to remain on the page. -- mike_mgoblue

I just made a couple of very minor corrections to grammar. -- mike_mgoblue
[edit] Lost Planet has now been Officially Confirmed as an Xbox 360 Exclusive game
I added an update and slightly modified the title in regards to the history of Lost Planet and the slight confusion that occured in regards to the games history. There was an unconfirmed rumor at the time, which started due to a hypothetical question being answered in a way that was taken out of context. Capcom has now officially announced that Lost Planet is exclusively for the Xbox 360, and there are no plans to port it to another games system. I added references to this article that also includes and interview with Lost Planet Producer, Jun Takeuchi. -- mike_mgoblue
I didn't know where to put this, but I believe the popularity of the online demo should be added. It is currently 4th on the list of most played games.

[edit] New Image
To avoid potential confusion over whther this is an exclusive game or not, I changed the boxart from a 360 cover with Xbox exclusive label to thew PS3 box. Additionaly I believe that more attention should be given to its non exclusivity in the article itself.Seanor3 (talk) 17:14, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Do not swap box arts from one system to another. The infobox already states which systems its for, given that the 360 was the lead system, it's understandable why that cover was there. Are you suggesting we switch covers for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to the Xbox version? If you must switch, switch to something more neutral such as the PC cover; or furthermore, just crop out the system banner, such as Image:Darkness cover.jpg or Image:GTAIV Logo.jpg. Keeping the original box arts lets us kick out users like this one who thinks its his duty to act as a PlayStation salesman, because somehow he's tied his loyalty to a corporation. - hahnchen 16:38, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
