[edit] Matronyms

I have now added matronyms for all twelve members. I started out with the translation of their first manifesto in the Central American Crisis Reader, which had matronyms for most of them, then did a web search for the rest. I believe I have the correct names for all, but here are the names where sources are in conflict:

  • Ernesto Castillo Martinez- given in one source as Marcano, but every other source points to Martinez
  • Casimiro Sotelo Rodriguez- only a few sources found for the matronymic, he apparently doesn't use it commonly, but they agree. A possible problem is that the Crisis Reader has him signing the manifesto as Sotelo F., but that may be an abbreviation for a title.
  • Emilio Baltodano Pallais- one source gives it as Cantarero, but everything else confirms Pallais
