the template will be removed, article is not on "wikipedia copyright problems." --.::Imdaking::. Bow | DOWN 02:12, 23 September 2005 (UTC) in the next 12 hours. --.::Imdaking::. Bow | DOWN 02:13, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
The above statement by the violator is in error. This article has listed here since September 12: Wikipedia:Copyright_problems, and here: Wikipedia:Copyright_problems/2005_September_12.
Imdaking, please stop posting copyvios. I will review the content again; if it still contains copyvios, the content will be blanked. If you have rewritten it please say so.

[edit] LADOT is More Than a Bus Service
I've been doing a bit of research, and I think that this entry could do with some more detailed information about the LADOT.
The Department's annual report, Controller audits, and information from the City Clerk and other sources can give a much more useful entry. 69.231.50.226 (talk) 04:30, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Look at the dates you posted, klenk!
Is it the 12th or 23rd, the template states it was added the 23rd. --.::Imdaking::. Bow | DOWN 03:55, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, the 23rd is in a link that always updates itself to the current link. See my comment on Bishonen's page. paul klenk talk 03:58, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
- And the template will remain until someone with the expertise and a very good reason removes it. paul klenk talk 03:59, 23 September 2005 (UTC)

- Don't worry, klenk, yours truly(wait...I take that back). I am working on it, as we type. --.::Imdaking::. Bow | DOWN 04:16, 23 September 2005 (UTC)

- Klenk, the website I got the info from was www.ladottransit.com
- Like many articles, this text is mirrored on many sites. It doesn't matter. What matters is its copyright status. Please address yourself to that. paul klenk talk 04:44, 23 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright?
I have removed the {{copyvio}} tag from this article. Whilst I can see that some sentences (and there are not many in the article) are copy-pasted, it is my understanding that such small amounts of work, on e.g. the scale of a sentence are not inherently copyrightable. This article also includes other information that may be taken from elsewhere, it is hard to tell, but it is certainly not taken from the given source. Thus, I do not think it infringes copyright from the source listed. A more detailed investigation may be in order, however, along with a repost to WP:CP. I'm not an expert on these things, however. -Splashtalk 02:55, 27 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:LADOT logo.jpg
Image:LADOT logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:02, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] LADOT Bus
If anyone cares to properly add this image to the page...
I'm bad at layout and I've forgotten certain Wiki commands. --AllyUnion (talk) 09:35, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
