- Comment There seems to be a large amount of information in the one paragraph, I'm not sure which way to go on this one -- Horus Kol Talk 00:14, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- Support Nothing left to merge actually. The entire text was copied from the LCWC website. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 07:58, 3 April 2007 (UTC)--Gadget850 ( Ed) 07:58, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose give the article a chance to grow. --evrik (talk) 18:42, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose If all the articles of this stature were merged into Scouting in California, the Scouting in California article would reach an absurd length. The quality of the present article is not the measure of a merge decision. Anlace 19:22, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

- As the article grows, then it can split. For example, if the Los Angeles County Council section grew to a certain point, then it could certainly fork to a new article. We encourage the by-state articles to grow, then by-council. I'm not sure what is meant by "of this stature" as the article in question is now a stub. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 19:35, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- Comment I would support the creation of an article like Camps of the Los Angeles Area Council. --evrik (talk) 13:21, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- Do we have a separate council article yet? I would think this should go top down for creation - state, council, camp. Most councils have only one or two camps. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 13:29, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- There is no article for the Los Angeles Area Council. I would be okay if the information from Scouting_in_California#Los_Angeles_Area_Council was made as a stub and the camp info was merged into that. --evrik (talk) 14:06, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
