[edit] Looks like someone doesn't know the difference between covenants and ordinances
Covenants are between private parties and bind only those in privity with them. Ordinances are passed by a duly elected public entity and bind anyone who wanders into the jurisdiction. This is a huge difference; a lot of cases turn on the issue of what private property owners can do with their property versus what governments can impose within their boundaries. --Coolcaesar 04:58, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] pronunciation
pronunciation looks a bit odd. ɔ doesn't occur in CA English, and Altos may be off too. Can someone who known check here: IPA: / /? kwami 05:46, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
