[edit] Daily countdowns removed

There was a lengthy discussion at Talk:Total Request Live and a request for comments filed, and the general consensus was that daily video countdowns constituted an "indiscriminate collection of information" and should not be included on Wikipedia. Moreover, the countdowns in this particular article were not attributed to reliable, verifiable sources, which are required for almost all information on Wikipedia. Please don't reinsert them again. The 190... IP editor, without bothering to discuss here or at my talk page or explain in an edit summary, is simply reverting wholesale my edits to the article. This blanket reverting involves not only restoring the unsourced and indiscriminate countdowns, but undoing my spelling, grammar and formatting corrections, bringing of the article into line with the Manual of Style, and addition of categories. This is completely unacceptable. Extraordinary Machine 01:46, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
He (his name is Brian) is a bad user of spanish wikipedia (born in Perú and is blocked forever) for doing this kind of changes. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 200.45.111.69 (talkcontribs) 06:55, 3 July 2007.
Do you have more information about this? If he was blocked indefinitely from editing the Spanish Wikipedia for refusing to work co-operatively with other editors, we should probably ask for advice at WP:ANI about what to do with regards to this situation. He's now reverted yet again, undoing the insertion of categories on top of everything else - this is borderline vandalism. I think I might have to file a request for page protection. Yes, just watch this and this and this and this and this and finally this /\n|)r0|v|€d@ {Post} 06:27, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Semi-protection

Well, okay, the article's been semi-protected. I didn't want this to happen, but it looks like the only way to stop the anon IP editor from reverting wholesale and refusing to discuss or explain his edits. Extraordinary Machine 22:59, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Los 10+ Pedidos.png

Image:Los 10+ Pedidos.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
