Lost Album (album)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lost Album is the home made demo by the Los Angeles alternative rock band Rooney. The songs were originally intended to be included on the band's second album. Originally the album was to be called "Kids After Sunset," but nearly three years later when it was released it was called "Calling the World," and only featured three songs from these sessions ("Tell Me Soon," "Paralyzed," and "Sleep Song" ["Sleep Song" was released as a bonus track on the iTunes version]), in newer recordings.
"Paralyzed" and "The Juice" were also featured in the band's DVD release "Spit & Sweat." "Sleep Song" was heard in the film Chumscrubber.
The songs, recorded mostly in 2004, were released on the internet by fans. The band has said these demos were very rough and never meant to be heard.
