"Lose Control" was the first single by Kevin Federline from his debut effort Playing with Fire. Federline closed the 2006 Teen Choice awards show on August 20 by performing his rap track, "Lose Control" after being introduced by Britney Spears, who was then his wife ("My man, Kevin Federline!").
As with his previous failed single PopoZão, "Lose Control" failed to reach any singles chart, though it did fare better than its predecessor.

"Lose Control" was filmed on Saturday, July 29 and debuted on Yahoo! Music Friday, September 1. It was named "Cheesiest Clip of 2006" by Ed the Sock in his Fromage year review.
