Argentine Rock was without any doubt a pioneer movement within the Spanish- speaking music industry. Although most of the Argentine Rock was cooked in Buenos Aires, some bands made history from the music scene of Córdoba and Rosario.

Córdoba enjoyed of a very creative moment during the late 80s, a movement called "La Movida del '87". Today, some of these artists are successful musicians, composers and producers working all around the globe.

From that musical movement we remember Los Nuevos Coleccionistas de Pasillos as a son of a creative union of some of the members of "La Movida del '87".

Jose Gentile, Tincho Siboldi, Raton Oviedo and Faby Carrizo released an album called "Placer X Placer" for the label Melopea, owned by rock visionary Litto Nebbia, who co-produced the album with the front-man, keyboardist and songwriter Gentile.

The album has good moments in songs like "Por Alcanzar"," ...O Matarte", "Nada Es Suficiente" and "Entre Piernas". The last one was the first cut of the album with heavy rotation in radiostations. Also the video clip of "Entre Piernas”, directed by Mario Gomez Moreno, got the 1st place in the Cordobean International Cine Festival “Bien Arte”(1993).

"Placer X Placer" was recorded in Nuevo Mundo studios (Buenos Aires) having singer Claudia Brant, Litto Nebbia and sax player Guille Rebosolan as guests artists. The smooth songwriting of Jose Gentile and lyricist Dirty Ortiz plus the good performances of enlightened musicians as Carrizo, Siboldi and Oviedo created a fine photograph of a creative quasar at the southeast country of the continent.
