Los Hooligans Productions

Los Hooligans Productions was a production company founded by Robert Rodriguez and Elizabeth Avellan in 1991. The name was borrowed from Rodriguez's own comic strip Los Hooligans which he illustrated for three years while at The University of Texas at Austin. When it was time to come up with a name for a production company, Rodriguez decided to use the name of his popular strip so fans would recognize it.
The studio is responsible for the release of El Mariachi, Desperado, The Faculty, and the From Dusk Till Dawn trilogy.
Now known as Troublemaker Studios.
