Los Angeles Toros

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Los Angeles Toros were a soccer team based out of Los Angeles, California that played in the non-FIFA sanctioned National Professional Soccer League. They were owned by Dan Reeves, who also owned the Los Angeles Rams.

Following the 1967 season, the NPSL merged with the United Soccer Association to form the North American Soccer League. In order to keep from competing with the Los Angeles Wolves of the former USA, the Toros moved to relocated and became the San Diego Toros.
