Los Alcarrizos

Los Alcarrizos is a municipality (municipio) of the Santo Domingo province in the Dominican Republic. Within the municipality there are the following municipal districts (distritos municipal): Palmarejo-Villa Linda and Pantoja.[1]

As of the 2002 census the municipality, then a municipal district of the Santo Domingo Oeste municipality, had 199,611 inhabitants (more than the city of Providence, RI), 166,930 living in the city itself and 32,681 in its rural districts (Secciones).
