Los Alcázares (coordinates: 37°47′N, 0°44′W) is a small town and municipality in the autonomous community and province of Murcia, southeastern Spain. The municipality is situated at the easthern end of Murcia's Mar Menor coastline, the Costa Cálida. The Mar Menor coast belongs to other three municipalities: San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Cartagena. It has an area of almost 19.76 km², and a population (2007) of over 14,077. The region is popular with tourists.
