[edit] Tonal Ecstasy
Hey, it looks like Tonal Ecstasy is up for deletion. In order to avoid this grim fate, you're going to have to demonstrate that Tonal Ecstasy qualifies under the notability guidelines laid out at WP:MUSIC. I'd advise you take a gander at Reverse Osmosis A Cappella, the Georgetown Phantoms, and other groups listed at the list of collegiate a cappella groups to see what passes as notability for a collegiate ensemble. Please let me know if you have any questions. JDoorjam Talk 20:27, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A comment
It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks! [edit] Knocking (card game)
A tag has been placed on Knocking (card game), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. A1octopus 22:50, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Redesign
I'm informing all of the members of The Smashing Pumpkins WikiProject that I recently redesigned and streamlined the WikiProject page (see here) based on Wikipedia:WikiProject Slayer and partially inspired by Wikipedia:WikiProject Alternative music. If anyone sees anything that needs tweaking, or if you think that the whole thing should be scrapped, say so here (btw, there's also an almost exact replica of what I'm telling you here at that location). Thanks, --Brandt Luke Zorn 01:12, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] helpme
whenever i view a wikipedia article on this computer it just appears as regular text; the navigation bar with the wikipedia logo on the left is gone... why did this happen and how do i get it back? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lord mortekai (talk • contribs)
- Hello Lord mortekai. I have moved your question to the help desk to hopefully cast a wider net and get you some technical feedback. In the mean time, it might be a good idea to tell us what version of what web browser your using and on what platform. Also, have you made any changes to your skin settings through the "my preferences" link? Into The Fray T/C 00:36, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:ROBOTCITY BF3.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:ROBOTCITY BF3.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.
