I removed the following: The word may have originated as the personal name "Laurie", which is short for "Lawrence". since it's not a lot of use without any sort of explanation for why this was (or at least might have been) so. 81.159.57.1 22:53, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

it's a disambiguation page ATM, but most of the pages linking here expect it to be truck, so I'd like to redirect Lorry to truck and place a link at truck to lorry_(disambiguation)
