Per WP:NPOV#Undue weight, there's no reason that a 2-year relationship needs to have its own section let alone 20% of the article length. I trimmed the quotes down to a healthy summary. • Dhartung, you seem to be either terribly confused, or perhaps, politically motivated with you edits. The romantic relationship between Fred Thompson and Lorrie Morgan occurred during the same period of time (aprroximately 1994 through 1996) while Thompson was campaigning in Tennessee for his seat with the U.S. Senate with Morgan in tow at many GOP campaign events --- the upshot here is that Thompson coat tailed his senatorial election campaigns on the better known popularity of Morgan due to her chart-topping country music recordings and performances in order to boost his recognition among both Tennessee voters and country music fans.13:19, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
