[edit] GA on hold

This article is well written, and provides a broad and relatively detailed overview of the article. It has proper referencing, MOS and is NPOV. Some things that are standard in modern politics, which are not covered below. This may be becuase the politics of the time made it irrelevant

  • Do we know the demographics of the seat? Rural, industrial, old people, young people? What are the main local characteristics of the seat
  • Do we know the parties which the candidates represented.

Apart from that, it should be good to go. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 07:58, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi, thank you for the questions, I will try and address them in the article. There were no party politics in the Northwest Territories in that period. I will dig around Stats Canada, I actually had not thought about trying to inject demographic statistics in the article, so I will have to go dig around the Government documents branch of the Library to see if I can find of the area in that period. I am working on trying to make a rough riding map of the boundaries described in the original proclamation.--Cloveious 08:16, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Ok, I think it is good enough for GA in spite of the missing info, although for FA, it would be good to have that info. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 02:15, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, Its on my to do list, I am going to try and get my hands on some rolls of microfiche. I am hoping newspapers from back then can expand on the campaigns, and might give something usable for demographics --Cloveious 02:22, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
