[edit] What year was she born?

"Pfc. Lori Ann Piestewa (December 14, 1980 - March 2003) was an Army soldier who was killed during the same Iraqi Army attack in which her friend Jessica Lynch was injured. She was 23 years old."

Now, if she really was born on December 14, 1980, then she would have had her twenty-second birthday on December 14, 2002, which meant that in the May of 2003 she'd be 22. If she really was 23 years old, then she'd have to have been born in 1979, instead of 1980. Assuming the December birthday at least is correct, that is . . .

Does anyone know Lori Piestewa's real birthdate? Wiwaxia 02:38, 11 May 2004 (UTC)

Social Security Death Index gives her DOB as 14 Dec 1979. Corrected main article.--Wurmis 21:28, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mother's maiden name

Does anybody have Priscilla "Percy" Piestewa's maiden name? It wasn't Piestewa, too, was it?--Methychroma 23:19, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Looks like it was "Baca." Badagnani 23:29, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
I went over the page cited and I don't see the reference.--Methychroma 23:46, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
I did not add a source for "Baca." See this search for evidence of "Baca." Badagnani 23:55, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. I went ahead and put that in.--Methychroma 00:03, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
